IMPORTANT DATES :-

• Commencement of Online application for GATE-2014 = 02.09.2013 (Monday)
• Last date of online application for GATE-2014 = 01.10.2013 (Tuesday)
• Commencement of Online Registration of application by candidates in NTPC = 20.12.2013 (Friday) 1300 hours
• Last date for online registration of application by candidates in NTPC = 18.01.2014 (Saturday) Midnight

NTPC declared that NTPC need's Young, Energetic Graduate Engineers for Engineering Executive Trainees.

NTPC hiring those engineers who has degree in :-

• Electrical 
• Mechanical 
• Civil 
• Instrumentation
• Electronics

Qualification :- NTPC requires full time BE/BTech degree with no less than 65% marks. As well as those engineers whose pursuing in final year area also eligible however they have to obtain at-least 65% marks in their engineering degree.

Age limit :- age limit is 27 as on 18/01/2014 and those candidate born before 17/01/1987 No need to apply.

Selection Process :- Eligible candidate will have to appear for GATE - 2014.

Based on the GATE 2014 marks and requirement, candidate will be short listed, and followed by GD and then PI. Candidates need to safe minimum qualifying marks in GD & PI.

Package :- NTPC offering Best package in the industry. Selected candidate will be placed with the pay scale of 24900-3% - 50k at the basic pay of 24900/- during 1 year training 

Service Bond :- Yes there is a bond of 3 years for all categories(GEN/OBC/SC/ST). If you break agreement you have to pay 2,50,000(for GEN/OBC) and SC/ST's and PWDs candidate has to pay half of 2,50,000 .

Medical :- Before joining, candidates will have to go medical examination by the NTPC medical board and decision would be final and binding.

There is no relaxations allowed.

How to Apply :- Candidate need to go on www.gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014. apply online for GATE-2014. wait for the admit card to get the GATE registration number, candidates will receive their GATE-2014 Registration Number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply On-line for NTPC ET-2014 on the website www.ntpccareers.net from 20.12.2013 to 18.01.2014. GEN/OBC candidates has to pay 150/- RS which is non-refundable registration fee and no fee for reserved category candidate.

You have to go to State Bank of India, because SBI has been authorized to collect registration fee, in a specially opend account(No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi, on behalf of NTPC.

After payment you will get a Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. NTPC will not be responsible in case the candidate deposits the fee in a wrong account. There will not be any other mode of payment of registration fee.
