Assam Postal Circle Recruitment

Application are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the posts of (i) Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS) for the year 2009-2012 and (ii) Postman/Mail Guard for the year 2010-2012 in 11 postal units of Assam Postal Circle.

Post Name :- Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS) and Postman/Mail Guard

Qualification :-

1. For Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation or ITI from recognized Boards. 
2. For Postman/Mail Guard: Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized Board or University. 

Age Limit : 

1. For Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS) 18-27 years
2. For Postman/Mail Guard: 18 to 27 years

Selection Process : Written Exam

Pay Scale :-

1. For Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS) in the pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800+ admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time .
2. Postman/Mail Guard in the pay band Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2000 + admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time. 

Exam Fee :The Examination fee prescribed for all male applicants in
General an OBC categories is Rs. 400/-. Candidates belonging to Scheduled
castes/Scheduled Tribes/Physically Impaired/Women are exempted from
payment Examination Fee.

Cost of Application Form registration: Rs.100 for all categories of applicants
who have registered.

How To Apply :-

1. The Applicant has to access the website http://www.submitonline.in/dopassam/ for seeing the detailed Notification/Advertisement issued by the Department and the Instruction Sheet/Information Brochure. 
2. Applicant should fill the details/inputs in the On-line Application at the appropriate places very carefully and click on the SUBMIT button at the end of the Registration of On-line Application Form. Before Pressing theSUBMIT button, the applicants are advised to verify carefully every field/inputs mentioned in the application.

Mode of Payment:-

The applicants have to approach their nearest e-payment Post Offices, (listed 

under e-payment link of http://www.submitonline.in/dopassam/ and to 

produce Fee Payment Challan printed by him & to pay the FEE in CASH 

(INR) only. Once the fee has been paid, the Registration process is 

completed. The Applicant can check his/her status of payment on the 

http://www.submitonline.in/dopassam/ after 3 working days after payment of the fee.
