Qualification :-
  1. Principal B.Ed. College - Ph.D in Education OR 10 (ten) yrs. teaching experience out of which at least 05 (five) yrs. teaching experience in a secondary teacher education Institution. (2) Master’s Degree in science/Humanities with 55%. (3) M.Ed. with at least 55% OR  M.A. in Education with 55%. 
  2. Lecturer B.Ed. College - (1) Master’s Degree in Science/Humanities with 55%. (2) M.Ed. with at least 55%  OR (1) M.A. in Education with 55%.  B.Ed. with 55% . 
  3. Principal, DIET - 05 years experience of teaching in primary or elementary teacher education institution with:- (1) M. Ed with 55% (2) Diploma/Degree in Primary/Elementary Education with 55% OR (3) MA in any school subject with 55% and Diploma/Degree in Education, Primary Education with 55% and Desirable: Diploma/Degree in elementary education and proficiency in the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for educational purpose. 
  4. Lecturer DIET - (1) M. Ed with 55% (2) Diploma/Degree in Primary/Elementary Education with 55% OR (3) MA in any school subject with 55% and Diploma/Degree in Education, Primary Education with 55%.   1. First, Complete application form accompanied by (1) Attested copies of Class X and XII Mark Sheet and Certificate (2) Degree Mark Sheet/ Degree Certificate awarded by the recognized Institute or equivalent (3) Valid Local Employment Card issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim, (4) Valid Certificate of Identification/Sikkim Subject Certificate (5) Valid category certificate for BL/ST/MBC/OBC/SC issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim (6) No Objection Certificate from the Appointing Authority/ Head of Department in case of employed candidate in regular establishment under Sikkim Govt. 
  2. Application form can be downloaded from www.spscskm.gov.in The form should be filled up by the candidate himself/herself and submitted in the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on any working day between 11:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. along with original Bank Receipt of State Bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’. The amount so deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted against any other purpose.

Applications are invited from the eligible local candidates for filling up of 21 (Twenty one) posts of Account Officers on temporary regular basis in PB-2 of Rs 9300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs 5000/- under Finance Revenue & Expenditure Department, Government of Sikkim.

Recruitment for the Post of:- Account Officers 

Qualification :-  Graduate Degree from a recognized University OR
(1)Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government. 
 (2) Should have valid Local Employment Card. 
 (3) Should be conversant with the customs and tradition of Sikkim 
 (4) Should have knowledge of any of the State Languages. 

Age : 21 years, but should not have attained the of 30 years on the last date of submission of application to the post i.e 30/07/2014. The maximum age limit shall be relaxed upon 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to BL, 
SC,& ST and 4 years for MBC candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. In the case of Sikkim Government Service in regular establishment the maximum age should not be more then 40 years. Upper age relaxation upto 50 Years for group C & D persons working on Muster Roll/ work charge/ Contract/ Substitute basis under State Government, State owned PSUs, other Central Government 
Establishment, Banks, Sikkim Manipal University, Vinayak Mission University & Sikkim University as notified by Government vide Notification No M (3) / PtIII /74/ GEN / DOP Dated 23/11/2012. Age relaxation for Ex-serviceman is applicable as per the notification issued by the State Government from time to time.

Pay Scale : PB-2 of Rs 9300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs 5000/- under Finance Revenue & Expenditure Department, Government of Sikkim. 

Selection Process : Written Exam/Interview

(a). Degree in Journalism and Mass communication
or Bachelor Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Age : Should have attained the age of 18 years, but should not have exceeded 30 years as on 01.06.2014. The maximum age limit shall be relaxed up to 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to B.L., S.T., S.C. & 4 yrs. for MBC candidates and 03 yrs. for OBC candidates.
