Some time agone state bank of India discharged a notification that they're going to hire approx 19000 clerk
however currently SBI desires solely 6183.
Candidate presently who is waiting for his or her result or following in final year also are eligible for SBI clerk.

Position in SBI: Clerk or clerical cadre
Qualification for clerical cadre: Graduate
Age for SBI Clerk: 20(minimum) to 28(maximum). Reservation available for reserved category candidate.
Probation Time: Candidate who will select in SBI for clerk will go on probation period for 6 months.
Selection Process for SBI clerk: Candidate will have to for Written Test and then after passed candidate will go for Interview.
About Test, test would be online and objective type where candidate have to answer for i) General Awareness (ii) Reasoning Ability (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) General English (v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge.
Every test will be of 40 marks. Objective type tests of total 200 marks candidates will be given time of 2 Hours 15 minutes.
Pay Scale for SBI Clerk: 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300
Instruction for SBI Clerk:-
- Candidate must a valid email ID. If candidate does not have, then candidate has to need to create.
- Indian candidate can apply only.
- For Online Payment - Candidate can use MASTER/VISA debit/credit cards/Internet-Banking for make hot(online) payment.And one more thing i would like to share with you and the thing is, You have to pay transaction charge(don't worry it would be like 10 rs around). After payment online e-receipt as well as online form will generate, candidate may take a print out for record of hard copy. - For Offline Payment - Candidate needs to go on SBI official website for apply clerk post (Before applying, candidate would scan their photograph and sign). Complete application form, When the data is saved, registration no. and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates requires to note the registration number and password. If need, candidate can re-open the data from his registration no. and password and can edit the particulars, if requires. Candidate can EDIT only three times. Candidates would have to take a print-out of the generated fee payment Callahan immediately. Candidate has to to go for payment after 2nd working day the system generated fee payment Callahan form will be needed to be presented at any branch of SBI with the fee. After payment of fee, registration of online application will be complete.

RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS
IN STATE BANK OF INDIA
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary
Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. Candidates selected are liable to be posted anywhere in India

Qualification :- Candidate should be graduate. And final year student may also apply.
Emoluments: Basic pay is 16,900/-(with 4 increments) in the scale of 14500-600/-
7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I.
The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A & C.C.A as per rules in force from time to
time. The compensation per annum at Mumbai is around 8,40,000/-. The break up of `
monthly compensation is as under:
Cash Component 34,320/- `
Bank's contribution to PF 1,690/- `
Housing (Lease Rental) 29,500/- `
Perquisites (Conveyance, Newspapers, Entertainment
allowance, House & Furniture Maintenance etc. 4,130/- `
In addition, the officers are also entitled to other benefits like –
(i) Medical Aid for self (100%) and for family (75%)
(ii) Home Travel Concession/Leave Fare Concession
(iii) Concessional Interest Rates for Housing/Car/Personal Loans
The salary scales are under revision with effect from November 2012
Age Criteria (As on 01.04.2014): Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2014 i.e candidates must have
been born not earlier than 02.04.1984 and not later than 01.04.1993 (both days inclusive)

How to Apply:-
Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank's website
www.statebankofindia.com www.sbi.co.in or . After registration candidates are
required to pay the requisite application fee through one of the following modes:
(i) Offline mode : The system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed
with the candidate's details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank
of India branch counter with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee
through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will
be complete.
(ii) Online mode : The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/Internet
Banking.
Selection Procedure :-
Phase-I Examination consisting Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive
Test for 50 marks.
The Objective Test will be online. Immediately after online Objective Test,
Descriptive Test will be administered. Cadidates will have to answer Descriptive
Test on paper/Pen mode.
(i) The Objective Test with 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 Objective Test:
marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:
a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks,
to be decided by the Bank.
(ii) The Descriptive Test with 1 hour duration (50 marks) will be of “Test Descriptive Test:
of English Language (comprehension, short prĂ©cis, letter writing & essay)”.
The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing
marks, to be decided by the Bank.
Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored
qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are Placed adequately high as per total
marks in objective test.
(b) Phase-II Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and
Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Adequate
number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.
The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be
as decided by the Bank.
Candidates qualified for GD & Interview under 'OBC' category are required to
submit OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause. Candidates not
submiting the OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause and
requesting to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained.
Final Selection The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase-II separately.
Marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are
converted to out of 25. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category.
The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.
Results of the candidates who have qualified for Phase II and the list of candidates
finally selected will be made available on the Bank's website. Final select list will be
published in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar.
Call Letters for Examination: The candidates should download their call letter and an “acquaint yourself “ booklet by entering their registration number and password / date of birth, from 30.05.2014 from the Bank's website.
NO HARD COPY OF THE CALL LETTER / ACQUAINT YOURSELF BOOKLET WILL BE SENT BY POST.
