Vacancy and Position Name:- 

1. Director of Health Service -1 
2. Director of Health Service (Family Welfare) - 1
3. Geophysicist in the Directorate of Geology and mining

Qualification in APSC Jobs:-

1. Director of Health Service - MBBS Degree and having Registration under Assam Medical Council
2. Director of Health Service (Family Welfare) - MBBS Degree and having Registration under Assam Medical Council
3. Geophysicist in the Directorate of Geology and mining - Post Graduate Degree in Geophysics from a University or institution Recognized by the Government. 

Preference :-

1. Director of Health Service - Candidate with Post Graduate Qualifications will be given preference with degree holders getting priority over diploma holders
2. Director of Health Service (Family Welfare) - Candidate with Post Graduate Qualifications will be given preference with degree holders getting priority over diploma holders
3. Geophysicist in the Directorate of Geology and mining - At least five years experience in Geophysical works in the field and laboratory. 

Service Experience:-

1. Director of Health Service - Minimum of 14 (fourteen) years of service in the state Health service. 5(five) years of Administrative experience in the rank of SDM &HO and above
2. Director of Health Service (Family Welfare) - Minimum of 14 (fourteen) years of service in the state Health service. 5(five) years of Administrative experience in the rank of SDM &HO and above
3. Geophysicist in the Directorate of Geology and mining - At least five years experience in Geophysical works in the field and laboratory. 

Age:-

1. Minimum age 52 years and Maximum age 55 years as on 1-January, 2014 for the post of Director of Health Service, Assam under H and F W(a) Deptt and Director of Health Service (Family Welfare)
2. Geophysicist in the Directorate of Geology and mining - Applicant minimum age is 21 and maximum age is 38 as on 01-01-2014

Scale of Pay:-

1. Director of Health Service - Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- (P.B - 4) with Grade Pay of Rs.6100/-pm plus other allowances 
2. Director of Health Service (Family Welfare) - Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- (P.B - 4) with Grade Pay of Rs.6100/-pm plus other allowances 
3. Geophysicist in the Directorate of Geology and mining -  Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- (P.B - 4) with Grade Pay of Rs.6100/-pm plus other allowances

Qualification :- All interested candidates should have completed Master Degree, NET qualified or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University.

Fee :- General/OBC candidates application Fee is - 130 and for all other candidates (PH/ST/SC) application fee is - 70.

Age Limit :- Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 30 Years. Age relaxations will be applicable as per the rules.

Salary And Grade Pay :- Rs. 15600 – 39100/- + 6000/-.
