Qualification :-

1. Physics - BE, B-Tech, M-Tech Minimum of 60%

Age Limit : 26 years. Only those candidates who are born on or after 1st
 August 1988 need apply. Age relaxation is admissible to SC / ST / OBC / PHP, etc. as per Government of India Orders on the subject.

Selection Process : Written Exam Or Interivew

Pay Scale : : On successful completion of the training, the trainees will be appointed as Scientist / Engineer–SC at IPR with a Basic Pay of `21000 in the Pay Band – 3 (i.e. 15600-39100) and Grade Pay of 5400/- (Gross Pay 46200/- p.m.)

Exam Fee : A non-refundable Application fee of `200 (Rupees Two hundred only) in form of Demand Draft only payable at Gandhinagar in the name of Institute for Plasma Research is chargeable for General and OBC candidates.

Hard copy along with the Application ID obtained while filling online application from our web page at http://www.ipr.res.in/advertisements.html with one recent passport size photograph duly affixed on the right hand top corner of the application alongwith demand draft, copies of testimonials in support of Age,
Qualification, caste, etc. should reach the Acting Chief Admin Officer, Institute for Plasma Research at the above address on or before 20/06/2014. The envelope should be strictly superscribed with Advt. No. and
Post Applied for.

Important Dates :-

1. Hall ticket for the eligible candidates will be available on our webpage link by 4th July 2014. 
2. The list of the shortlisted candidates for interview will be declared tentatively on 28th July 2014.
3. Written test to be conducted tentatively on Sunday, 20th July 2014 in one of the 5 centers, viz. Ahmadabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta and Chennai for which no Travelling Allowance (TA) will be paid.
4. Last Date for Registration of Online Application Form Is: 20-06-2014 .
